Cyan Strategy Partners, Inc. (initially, Cairn, Young, Andrews & Nguyen, LLC) was founded in 2010 by four former partners from two of the world's largest strategy consulting firms. Their initial premise was to build a world class advisory firm focused exclusively on food & beverage companies.
Scaling quickly, by 2017 the firm had over a dozen partners, expanded to cover all major retail & consumer industries and grew beyond North America to London. Using its proprietary Marketing Pentad Cultural Engagement Model, the firm developed go-to-market strategies and marketing approaches for some of the world's most recognized retail companies.
Today, the firm boasts over 30 partners in 6 countries and works with over 50% of retail and consumer companies in the Fortune 500. Cyan is recognized among the leading experts in its field, winning numerous awards including the Value Creation Advisory Firm of the Year (Revenue Growth) at the 2024 Golden Marketer Awards.
Cyan brings a level of rigor, judgment, and commitment that clients have trusted for more than 16 years for their most important brands and marketing decisions.
As part of our client work, we go beyond surface-level surveys and brand attributes to develop a deeply grounded view of consumer buying behavior, preferences and experiences, drawing on seasoned experts who take the time to understand each product, brand, and situation in context, and never relying on shortcuts or simple, standardized models.
At all stages of campaigns and projects, we stay engaged to ensure that insight translates into real value creation, working alongside marketers and management teams to strengthen leadership effectiveness, ensure cultural integration, and align teams for success.
Our longstanding client relationships reflect a consistent philosophy: we care deeply about outcomes, we make company leaders even more effective, and we measure success not just by projects completed, but by the lasting value we help create.
